This is a fantastic pair of vintage cat eye frames by American Optical. The frames have aluminum arms that extend onto the front to hold the tortoise colored body. The metal portion has black enameling that shows the flower detail. There are a few places were the enameling has scratched, but they are minor. The plastic portion looks in good shape and I can find no cracking or major scratches. The arms are in good shape with some minor wear. They do have prescription lenses in them that will need to be replaced, but these frames will make fantastic sunglasses. They are marked American Optical and 5.5 on one arm and 5.5 alum on the other.
